INSULATION
In 1998 republic refrigeration opened it’s own pipe Insulation Department which is being run by Jamie Foster, a Virginia Tech graduate, who has over 25 years experience in the insulation trade. He completed a four-year apprenticeship program for State of Virginia for Asbestos Workers. Jamie was a Certified Nuclear Superintendent for Civil Service at Norfolk Naval Shipyard. Jamie is our national Project manager specializing in Ammonia and Freon insulation systems for food processing, cold storage and wineries. He is a member of RETA and IIAR. To date, Republic Refrigeration is one the largest insulation contractors in the country. This division has over 60 installers with an average of 20 years experience in the cold pipe insulation field.
